The Dark Acolytes were a group of loosely organized Dark Jedi during the Clone Wars.

History

These Force-sensitives were assembled and trained by Jard Dooku to lead the armies of the Confederacy of Independent Systems and to provide a Force-sensitive opposition to the Jedi Order. Some of them were originally Jedi seduced to the dark side of the Force by Dooku himself.

Dark Acolytes often used battle tanks on the battlefield. Each of these craft were armed with a pair of supercharged blaster cannons and two missile launchers. Though effective in one-on-one attacks, Dooku insisted that they travel in groups of three for improved effectiveness.
